Q 3: What do I have to do to keep my Patio and Driveway looking great?

Q 4: Can I use acid solutions to clean my Pressed Concrete and Interlocking Stone?
A: No. DO NOT use acid or any other cleaning solutions other than a mild soap. For stains that do not come out with soap contact us.
Q 5: Can I use chemical de-icers or salt in winter?
A: DO NOT use chemical de-icers. Also: Any de-icer you use should be applied after the first winter. Facts: According to the Portland Cement Association deicers that are sodium chloride or calcium chloride based are the safest to use on concrete. WARNING: keep clear of vegetation as damage can occur when applied. Care must also be taken as they can corrode metal and promote rust.
Q 6: What can I use to de-ice my drive and walkway?
A: Urea, a nitrogen based compound is safe alternative to salt as is sand. Although if sand is used be prepared to do a little cleaning inside your home when some of the sand is brought in on your shoes. :) DO Not pick at ice with sharp tools as this can cause damage to your drive or walkway.
Q 7. Can you provide a non slip surface?
The answer to that question is YES and NO. The fact is that all concrete walkways and driveways are relatively slippery when wet or when snow and ice are present. Add sealer to the mix and you have slippery conditions even in the best of times. Fortunately we have a product we can mix in with our sealer to give a good grit and grip underfoot. This is NOT a cure all for slippery conditions and extreme caution must be taken in wet, snowy, or icy conditions.
Q 8: What do you do for me when you seal my drive?
A: THE SERVICES WE CAN PROVIDE ARE. Power Washing and Cleaning. Oil and Stain Removal. Professional Sealing of newly installed patios, walkways and driveways and re-sealing of existing areas. We can apply a Semi or a High Gloss Finish. Available Non Slip Surfaces With Silica Sand. Repair and Colour Touch-Ups
Q 9: What are the benefits of sealing?
A: Protects against oil, dirt and salt. Enhances stone colour. Touch dry in 30 minutes. Drivable after 4 hours. Makes cleaning easier. Durable.
Q10: How much does all this cost?
A: Go to our Quotation page, we will give you a FREE quotation. Simply email us or call us. We will be right over.
Q11: The cost is right. Now how often should I seal my installation?
A: This can vary greatly depending on the amount of traffic there is on your drive or walkway. More traffic = more wear and tear; Less traffic = less wear and tear. That's the simple math of it all. In general a good sealing job should last between one and two years in a normal household.
